I was happy
I was proud
My love for him
I would shout out loud

All was good
Until she came
To take him away
And give me a bad name

Rumors about me she spread
All of which untrue!
Everyone believed her
And he did too!

She played discreetly
Giving him her demands
And he was fooled by her
Schemes and plans

So that was it
He slipped away from me
Right through my fingers
I knew it was too good to be

He had ditched me for someone
Better than I
It makes me question myself
And wonder why

Why did he stay with her?
She treated him like dirt
Watching how she treats him
Really deep down hurt.

She turned him against me
So he started being cruel
Calling me names like

How could she do this to me?
