Pulsing Heart

by michael   Aug 17, 2006

I fall down on my knees
And plead for this to end.
To sacrifice my life
So that no-one is hurt any more.
This plea for help,
Haunting at my mind,
Making me screech in pain,
In agony...

My life, a wreck.
My soul, a mess.
My heart, obliterated.
To show my thoughts to you is one thing.
Compared to showing you my feelings.

Do not cry, hold in your tears.
If one small shard of your sadness lands on the ground,
Remember i'm still here.
In your heart.
Always, for as long as it pulses.

Cause you are my one true love,
Even if I don’t act like it.
I may have had others.
I may have...
But you are my love, my only.

And keep in-mind,
This was never your fault.
It was all my doing,
It was all my fault.
