Back with daddy

by Dawn Ellis Cantrell   Aug 17, 2006

I try to start each day
Seeing if I can find my way
In my heart, i feel such pain
With every time I hear your name
I miss you daddy, very much so
Know one could ever know
In my heart, stands a big hole
That no man could ever fill
I know you are gone by God's will
But sometimes I often wonder why
Why does God make me cry?
How could he take you from me?
Knowing without I cannot be
I know one day, I'll see you again
Where we left off,
Is where we will begin
I will start with a hug and a kiss
I will tell you how much you have been missed
I don't know what will come that day
But I know you will guide my way
Back into daddy's arms
Where I feel the warmest warmth
Never feeling this alone again
To be with you in your new home
Back where I should be
Back with daddy, Where I belong.
