Lifes Lessons

My emotions are running loose
it's getting harder to breathe
my world is turning darker
my heart rests on a sheathe

my smile has hit a low turn
my eyes wear shades of grey
my voice has lost it's tune
yet my mind has a lot to say

he left without a warning
not even a kiss goodbye
the faith that i once had
is drownded in my cries

why is it the ones that try their all
are left with nothing in the end
the only thing they get left with
is a shattered heart to mend

the world will keep on turning
and things we hope would last
will be more of broken promises
and memories to fit the past

no matter what we have
no matter the effort we give
somewhere along our journey
out hearts are gonna relive

relive all the tears and hurt
relive all the trouble and pain
but what we need to remember
the sun will shine throughout the rain

our exspeirences teach us to learn
how to love and appreciate
and shown upon that road
will finally be handed our fate.
