The Grip and the Satisfaction

by The Fallen   Aug 17, 2006

I wish that I could feel touch,
But that would be a bit much,
To ask of you just yet,
Since we've never even met...

And I'm burning, And I'm falling,
And every thing's going black.
And I'm ripping, And I'm tearing,
And I'm never coming back.

(Kill me with looks...)

Hold on tighter (Hold me tighter),
Hold onto me tonight.
Hold on tighter (Hold me tighter),
Please, Hold onto me tonight.

Hold me! - Hold me! - Hold me!
(Hold on tighter, Hold me tighter)
Hold me! (Tighter Tonight).

I wish that I could kiss you,
But that would be too much too,
Oh, To Hold you so closely,
And to know that this might be...

But I'm burning, And I'm falling,
And every thing's going black.
So I'm ripping, And I'm tearing,
And I'm never coming back.

(Close my eyes...)

Hold on tighter (Hold me tighter),
Hold onto me tonight.
Hold on tighter (Hold me tighter),
Please, Hold onto me tonight.

Hold me! - Hold me! - Hold me!
(Hold on tighter, Hold me tighter)
Hold me! (Tighter Tonight).

I wish that my heart would skip a beat,
So that I could see the end of me,
Or could this grip just pass away,
And satisfy me as it may...

(Lay me to rest...)

Hold on tighter (As I burn away),
Hold me tighter (As I fall apart),
(Kill me with looks) Fading black!

Hold on tighter (As I'm ripped to shreds),
Hold me tighter (As I'm torn to pieces),
(Close my eyes) Not coming back!

(Lay me to rest...)

No!

Hold me! - Hold me! - Hold me!
(Hold on tighter, Hold me tighter)

Hold me!
(Tighter tonight)
Hold me!
(Oh, God please)
Hold me!
(Never let me go...)

This one is awesome. I've felt that way alot...
Anyways, I think that more people would read your poems if they were a little shorter, because it looks like it will take alot of time to read (if that makes any sense), but as far as poetry really goes, I think you are amazing. I'm adding you to my favorites :)
