Just How Somethings Go

by xoxShorteexox   Aug 18, 2006

Broken in two,
with no where to go.
Helpless misunderstood,
our intentions were always good.
There's nothing left,
just this empty space inside my heart.
Lies held in,
until one big outburst.
Truths be known,
for no one's home.
My heart is left with nothing,
I'm hollow once again.
This shallow heart will not mend,
and this touch is cold.
My hand is growing weak,
& yours was suppose to keep it to it strong.
These arms had someone to hold,
and this soul was never happier.
My eyes had someone to look at,
yet these tears had someone to cry over.
May your heart never become cold,
because I believe it's mine to hold.
As for this shattered soul,
it'd last another day without you to hold.
