Vultures

by Louis   Aug 18, 2006

My ribs are pulling into my lungs. I cant get the words out that I want to say. My heads capsizing from all of these thoughts. It feels so impossible to say all the things that come to mind. Yet I speak like I\'ve known what to say all along. These thoughts flow together like a stream into the sea. Im breathing so uneasy, my lungs are short of air, as if Im drowning in this sea of thoughts. Its overwhelming just thinking of you. So many things come to mind but only one thing comes to my mouth. I think so big on such little possiblities. Ive grown so much though, just remembering, then again Ive been forgetting.Yet, I cant forget resting in your eyes. So deep and blue, like ocean waves washing over me as I lay silently. Savor these days because I know they\'ll soon be numbered. As the vultures pass through they\'ve got an eye for me. So I\'ll just stay under the sky, and let the stars fall over my head until they come. When they come, I\'ll be swept away, like footprints in the tide, I\'ll dissappear.
