As I looked down upon her gravestone,
I saw those 2 dates and a dash in between.
for some reason I didn't focus on the beginning and the end,
I focused on the dash in between them both.
the time I had to spend with her,
and the times when she shared her smile.
As God took her away, and left us in tears,
those memories from that dash stick with me.
Not only did God take an amazing girl,
but a sister, daughter, niece, granddaughter and a friend to all.
I thought I would never forget her,
but slowly her memorable laugh slowly fades,
but her smile still sticks with me
and those memories we had throughout that dash,
will NEVER be forgotten,
because you never forget a girl like her.
I love you Loren... 8 months have gone by and i miss you more and more each minute... I'll visit you soon! you'll be in my heart forever babe, because there's no way I'll forget my bestfriend!! Love you beautiful!
