For you my dear

by Wings Of Flames   Aug 18, 2006

I want to confess in my dreams,
We are hand in hand,
Together in one breath,
Upon the glass of sand,

It burns to fall upon this cut,
When the sand is alight,
Slithering up my legs,
Then the coolness of the night,

I'd beg for his face to break,
For his smirk to leave my mind,
Anything for you, for us,
But these words I cannot find,

I need his voice just to die,
His words I cannot take,
A figure in the misted oceans,
In the glassey times I fake,

Just to have you happy,
Is why I take this pain,
The agony that I persist,
In the showers of my rain,

Flower of my past has died,
Then lives for just a day,
A life left to another death,
Where my happiness shall fray.

^^I really liked that line. Out of the whole poem, that one line just stood out so much to me!
