Care=Pain

I wish you cared for me,
Like I cared for you.

If only you knew.

It hurts me so much,
That my care for you grew.
But it doesn't match up,
To the pain you've put me through.

My heart begs for mercy,
Yet only receives ache.
Your not even close to knowing,
The kind of pain you create.

All I do is ponder,
As my heartbeats slow and my depression rises.
You were so unpredictable,
Full of surprises.

It hurts even more,
Because you snuck it up on me.
had all my hopes up,
Of making us both happy.

Yet only you get happy,
After you broke what I gave you.
My heart was declined,
And given back un-new.

Does it satisfy you,
To see me so hurt?
Do you get off of,
Treating me like dirt?

My smiles turned to frowns,
The joy in my eyes to tears.
Never ever, thanks to you,
Will I be able to give my heart without fear.
