Dark

Dark
----------
It's a shame I had to
Come down here to make this clear
But in these dank cellars,
With a green tint on the light
And the drip, drip that on through the night
Reminds me of your fingers
Tapping on my shoulders
Asking me for something
That you couldn't find yourself...
Here in these dank cellars
With a dark-green tinge of fright,
Pressed against the walls like
Slabs of meat on impaling spikes...
Oh...the softest hands - and smoothest -
I'll give you a better name
Than the one you had before, mame
The almost-forgotten image of yourself.
You found me in these dank cellars,
And with a glee that penetrates the sights
You take me where I've never been,
And all right here, tonight
