Numb

by Phoenixgoddess   Aug 18, 2006

I laugh in your face,
As you attempt to pain me.
But I'm too numb,
I'm not even angry.

Do you really think,
Your tactics will work again?
Think again,
You have no idea what your getting in.

Stay in your fantasy world,
At least then you can imagine hurting me.
It's the only way you will,
Because you suck in reality.

You fail to realize,
Just how numb I am.
I watch and that's all,
Far from feeling damned.

Your wasting my time,
So will you please hurry it up?
Or are you done?
Your not so tough.

Your rambling,
Whining isn't good.
So I turn and walk away,
Like a numb person should.

I loved all the points you were trying to get at in this, and I feel the same way sometimes, emotions are such a bother, right?
