His Whispers

by Pretend--ToLoveMe   Aug 19, 2006

He whispered words that he didn't feel.
She loved him thinking this was so real.
In the end the truth came out,
And her heart was filled with nothing but doubt.

He said he loved her, that he would never let her down,
That her smile was his world and he would die before he let her frown.
But the truth was that he could care less,
All he wanted was to get under her dress.

He took her out and bought her flowers,
Talked to her on the phone for hours.
Told her fake dreams and fed her false hope,
But he didn't think about how in the end she would cope.

He said he loved her and kissed her goodnight,
She thought their love was so out of sight.
But her innocent eyes wouldn't let her look,
And her virginity was what he took.

Such a fragile heart like the one she had,
Was crushed with lies and all things bad.
She cried herself to sleep at night.
And thought that nothing would ever be right.

But slowly as time went by,
She had better things to do than cry.
Her heart was slowly healed
And she again could really feel.

In time she learned to see
Things that were important to see
And not to fall for those
who only wanted to remove her clothes.

The last few lines are kind of forced, but I have been working on this one for a few weeks and I wanted to finish it.
