Surrounded by mortal ghosts
With their unforgiving glare
Escaping to mentally join you
Your presence to them unaware
My soul is at a peace
A place they cannot bear
For I am joining you
In eternity without despair
How to explain the connection
Or just allow the simple truth
That love has found my soul
In a way that needs no proof
Living in the physical world
Careless and nonchalant
The mind my personal domain
A place for you to haunt
Insane some mortals call it
Romantic the dreamers will see
An indescribable connection
As your spirit entered me
Opening all my senses
Erased what logic taught
Reached inside my body
Fulfilling what the heart sought
I elude the physical being
Deep into my soul
I feel your presence there
