A Long Day

A long list of words unspoken,
A long trail of lies..what's new?
Sunken beneath tear filled eyes,
Is something I can't do.

A long tale of lives forgotten,
A long fear of death..unknown,
Clinging on with one last breath,
I'm feeling so alone.

A long road to true happiness,
A long life that faded..dark,
I've come to see my life's cascaded,
And I'm ready to embark.

A long journey to life ahead,
A long day has ended..cold,
My heart has yet to be mended,
Another day became old.
