It has taken me a lot of years
And growing up to see
That life is too short for regrets

Sure there are things that I've done wrong
But there's things that I did right

Instead of turning on the light

And so boring to me

Just knock on future's door

You can live in the past
And all those yester-years
Re-live those embarrassing moments
And the rush of tears

You can replay the things you said
And the way that you acted
But nothing will change
