The Friend Myth

True trust is something you will never find,
it is something created by the human mind,
something to comfort your soul,
to fill that deep hole.
So if find someone you tink is true,
I just want to tell you,
you have made a mistake,
because everyone here is fake.
You may not think that it is true,
but wait until it happens to you.
It starts with the secrets untold,
and pretty soon it will unfold.
Someone you thought you could trust,
will leave you hanging in the dust,
feeling alone with nowhere to turn,
you will realize you have just been burned.
You'd thought they'd care,
and now the pain is too strong to bare.
This life is rough,
and you need to stay tough.
Your better off not knowing someone too close,
because these are the ones that hurt the most.
