Delusions

I broke the fall that I was made
In the deadest morning that I have prayed
Upon the light, I see his face
And I fall back into disgrace

A broken arrow from my heart
Pulls my body all apart
Twisted rhymes in my head
As I fall back into this nested bed

To and fro we move in light
Of the stars falling at night
Poisoned minds of horrid place
Into this bowl full of mace

Triumph over loss of life
Another inane child brought before the knife
Forced forgiveness, where are we now?
I don't know the problem, but I'm going to fix it anyhow

Promises lost in fixation of tonight
Lost in a half way mark known to sight
Breathe in essence predict till death
And with death I envision ever breath

Torn apart the losses of tragedy
Trident made from this lively parody
Words twisted into illusions of hope
Without a doubt we have lost reason to cope

Delusions lost in face of right
Another sorrow built along my sight
Ideas formed in right of longing
And these tears are defeated to pouring

Tribute to erase a future so bleak
In amongst the words I can speak
Mourners praying for a life unharmed
A decision gracing me open palmed

Long forgotten a reason to exist
In a life that shall no longer persist
Perjury of hope unowned by the reasons I share
And now I doubt you could even care
