Now, I wasn't there when it happened
I was only six
But now I understand what a tragedy
It is to have the towers laying in bricks

I understand what happened that day
I get what went on
How all these family members and friends
Are now in heaven;; They're gone

No story can ever explain
What went on that day
Now the towers are gone
And some people passed away

People showed their support
They used flags and red, white, and blue
Were there for their country
And always stayed true

The planes that took the innocent lives
Crashed into the towers
Whoever knew that that thing
Had so many powers

Innocent people had lives taken away
when the planes crashed
Once the towers standing tall
Are now gone and smashed
