Expect the Unexpected

Why does this have to happen to me?
God please tell me now,
Why did life go from being so happy to feeling down?

My life was going fine until late one afternoon,
When i was told some shocking news,
About what my mom was gonna have to go through,

She was doing fine,
At least thats what i thought,
But seeing what she has to go through,obviously not,

So I was beginning to worry about how this was going to end,
But then I get some more news,
It was about my grandmas de@th,

These tragedies happened to our surprise,
We didn't see this coming,
When we looked into Gods eyes,

We knew my mom`s mom wasn't in the best of health,
But we didn't expect her to die,
At this point in time,

My mom having to go through surgery was a surprise as well,
We just have to pray,
That her peaceful life won`t turn into a living hell,

So I continue to pray that my mom will be ok,
And that we wont receive more shocking news,
On and unexpected day,

Let`s Just hope that when all this passes by,
That we will be able to smile because of your survival,
Rather than crying because of you dieing
