Time will mend Me

Crying myself to sleep at night,
At the though of loosing you,
Not knowing the heartbreak,
That one day could be so true,

My hatred inside builds up,
I can't bear it anymore,
I don't want you to know this pain,
This pain I've felt so long before,

The worry I cause you needs to end,
I just want you to be happy,
Sometimes this leads my thoughts,
Of you being better off without me,

I want to hold onto you forever,
Not let one moment slip away,
But it gets so hard to believe,
Our happiness will come one day,

As my head rests upon your chest,
I can hear your heart beating,
As I lean to kiss you,
I can hear you breathing,

When I'm in your arms I know I'm safe,
I know I can trust you till my end,
But these tears I cry you will never know,
I love you so, but time now needs me to mend.
