You are a gorgeous day

by Raydeen   Aug 21, 2006

My tongue,
it doesn't seem to move anymore,
my heart doesn't seem to beat,
not since you walked out that door.

I seem to have no willpower,
I feel useless without you,
you were my everything,
you were everything I could feel everything I could do.

I no longer see in beautiful colors,
but in shades of grey.
and I hate it,
because I can no longer speak of a gorgeous day.

my appearance always seems to be a mess.
nothing to be pretty for,
she read this aloud from her writing.
"but you're beautiful no matter what, and you are a gorgeous day" she heard a mans voice speak from the door.

she dropped her book,
looked into the mirror,
colors lept into vision,
there was no longer anything to fear.
