I remember walks on the beach
The sea kissing our feet
As your heart went out of reach
But I would not except defeat

In my world, you are my all
I breathe only for you
That's why I catch you when you fall
And I know you'd catch me, too

Why turn away, when I know
What your heart is screaming
If you could let her go
Then reality can come of my dreaming

I see you kiss her on the pier
But the stars aren't shining for her
But when you're with me they're so clear
I just want things as they were

I remember when you called me princess
You got goose bumps when I said your name
I know you don't love me any less
That's why I'm in so much pain

I beg you, look me in the eyes
And tell me you don't love me
Because true love never dies
My heart can never set you free

So I wait, I would wait forever
As long as it took to hold you again
I know one day we'll be together
Simply cos I love you and you feel the same.
