So now I'm gone
and so many new problems have risen
so many more ups and downs
you say you don't know anymore
I cry silently
and say it's OK
everything is falling down around us
everything we've worked so hard to build
it's breaking us
and you know it
yet we simply won't say it
we don't talk of splitting up
as if it's not an option
instead we talk about when
and how we would
or will do it
you're so uncertain
but once you hear the pain in my voice
and see the tears in my eyes
you know instantly
that I'm all you want, all you need
but we both know
that all good things come to an end
it hurts so bad everyday to talk to you
feeling so close
but really being so far away
we're drifting apart
I know you've noticed too
things just aren't the same

I want so badly to feel that comfort again
and to know everything will be OK between us
but it won't and you know it, you just won't admit it
