The Most Beautiful Voice

by Thoughtless Consideration   Aug 21, 2006

The strangest thing happened last night,
It truly was
Quite a magnficent sight.

I was ushered out of my dreams,
by a voice so beautiful
Despite its frantic screams.
So I walked out the door,
Nervous,
Imagining up horrors.

I stumbled into the woods,
And heard the voice again.
She was singing,
The most beautiful voice
I had ever heard.
Although, I couldnt make out the words.

So I kept on walking,
Shivering in my worn out
Blue jacket,
And one though ran through my mind:
This better be worth it.

And then I stopped,
I knew the voice
Singing out to me,
Beckoning me,
A feeling crept over me
As though someone was watching me,
Someone I could not see.

Oh,
The stars!
The stars had been watching me!
All along,
The stars had been singing!
