The War Is Lost

by Pondering Thoughts Of Nothing   Aug 21, 2006

The war is lost.
You've defiantly won.
No matter how much i struggle,
or fight,
I make no impact on you,
whatsoever.
Not even the slightest dent
or blemish.
Wake up call, your highness?
Oh, I'm sorry.
I've tried everything,
form shouting to tears,
But nothing works.
In one ear,
and out the other.
You just say,
"OK, that's nice,"
and you wave me away.
I can't even remember the good, happy days.
There's nothing i can do,
I can't be your mechanic,
You will just have to use your brain,
and your old rusty heart
to figure this one out.
The war is lost.
You've defiantly one.
This whole thing is over,
the song is sung.
