An Ocean

by Squirrel   Aug 21, 2006

Depth,
Mystery,
An ocean.

We've only breached the surface.
Always growing with age,
We'll never reach the bottom.
Always drowning halfway,
For the beauty is to entrancing,
We'll neglect the need for air.
It will be the end,
Of our journey there.

Depth,
Mystery,
An ocean,
It will never be fully discovered.

I love this poem.. there is this whole different meaning behind it, like, there is so much that we don't know and that we would like to know, but can't, because we are out of time. Great job. Flow and word choice was excellent. 5/5 for sure

    It was awesometastical, lol

The poem right there has depth. It is a good detail of an ocean of what is has.

I love the symbolism in this poem, it made it easier to comprehend exactly what you meant.

Both life and the ocean are just to big to fully grasp in the short years we are given to live... it's enough to drive you crazy.

I may be totally of, but that's what I got from it, and I feel that way all the time.

No matter what you meant, I love it anyways, though. I'd like to read more by you.
