Happy Birthday Brother

Well since you'll soon be gone,
And today is your birthday,
I thought it'd be a good time,
For me just to say.

You are the best brother
I could ever ask for
You're a friend, a father
And so much more.

You've grown up dramatically
Over the past few years
You're the strongest person i know
It's like you have no fears.

When asked if i have a role model
I simple smile and say, "My brother
He's the best person i know
He is like no other."

I know it should be you
I say all this to
Instead i stand with pride
And only wish you knew

Now I have no choice
You'll be 12 hours away
Seems more like a lifetime
And I'm left here to stay.
