The Man

Who is the man above
That I so honestly love

I pray to him each and every night
To look after my loved ones and keep them in sight

Knowing he has the answers to life
But most of the time all I can see is the strife

He always gives me a challenge to put me to the test
Cause it only makes me better even though I think I need a rest

I wouldn't be who I am today without the man
And before God one day I will eventually stand
