Road To Misery

by Sarah Ann   Aug 22, 2006

Life slips fast beneath my feet
Gently so as not to feel a thing
In time my heart withers and bleeds
Darkened voices demand to sing

My soul, hypnotized beyond reason
Cries out mercy to she
Redemption is far beyond any reach
On the road to misery
