Golden Eagle

by Hear You Me   Aug 22, 2006

Golden Eagle soaring high
Precious Eagle owns the sky
Powerful Eagle swoops low down
Murderous Eagle preys the ground

How we adore your gliding wings
Your sharp claws and glorious beak
How we love it when you sing
Demanding pitiful birds never to speak

Golden Eagle soaring high
How obvious you know you own the sky
Soaring down with confidence and ease
Vulnerable birds at your prey and tease

How we marvel at your strong jaw
Above it lives your ever sharpened beak
Teaming with your murdering claws
Ordering other birds to be fearful and meek
