Don't Let 'them' Win.

by Hear You Me   Aug 22, 2006

All I ever wanted was to be accepted
But, over and over again I am rejected
At first it tore my heart into shreds
I believed that my soul was dead

I have never done anything wrong
It turned out to be them all along
But what right did they ever possess
To mutilate my life to a mess

Why do they want to make me feel shit?
Do they just live to see me quit?
I'll show them by not caring what they think
Never again will they drive me to the brink

Those callous, heartless, selfish fools
Will never experience my precious jewels
They will be cruel, corrupted - and then they'll regret
I feel pity, for in the end it is they who'll fret

They sure will be sorry; Sad, bitter, alone
No genuine friends and noone at home
I'll have a career, a family. A life to live for
Never again will i yearn for more

Don't let them win.
