Remember Mom?

by Caroline   Aug 23, 2006

What ever happened to our hugs mom?
Did you forget?
That we used to go through old photo albums
So our memories could recollect

Do you still remember us talking?
We could chat for miles
We never had much in common
But we used to make each other smile.

Now, its just screaming and yelling
Love is at the bottom of the list
I hope you realize that
I'm never going to get used to you calling me a bit-ch

I'm sorry for making you angry
Even though I don't know what it is
I try to think back
I try to reminiscence

But whatever I do, you're never really proud
I'm always the fuked up daughter
Yeah, I constantly hear you say that out loud

Its hard writing this down
Even worse, that I cant tell you all this
Because if I did
There you go again, calling me a bit-ch

We don't talk anymore
And it hurts me real bad
Because I realize we're never going back to what we had

Being a teen is hard mom
Im having trouble going through all this
And you not supporting me
It hurts more than a physical hit

I want you to know I still love you
Even if you don't feel the same
You don't show it anymore
Its okay, I'm willing to take all the blame

I wish you would just slap me
Right across the face
Just so for the last time, I could feel your motherly hands
And remember your embrace

I'm sorry things don't work out with your mom. (If this is a true poem) It was very good, and expressive!
