She left me that day, my fallen angel.
Her soul leaving her body and me.
That day she was lowered to what she loved,
And was sent to where she came from.
My angel had fallen and so had my god.
It was a rainy day that she slowly left,
And I heard the cracks of a heart slowly breaking.
Breaking into more pieces than I thought possible.
She left me that day as the rain came down,
It slowly washed away the red and brought the blue.
My world came crashing, never to fix,
It still hasn’t and I doubt it will.
She left me alone, to never be replaced,
My angel had fallen and so had my joy.
That rainy day, my mother had left.
As the rain washed away all my happiness,
And grief washed over me as the rain fell.
She left me that day, my fallen angel.
