Horses Are My Passion

by katrina porter   Aug 23, 2006

Happily trotting through the fields
Out running the rabbits
Riding through the Fields carrying his owner
Seated on a back of a steady steed
Everyday you can ride the horses
Some horses will let you trot them

After your magnificent ride
Run towards the gate my horse will follow
Enter into the barn haul some grain to his stable

Miles until the horse will stop
Your on a horse with speed

Pay a dollar for a ride
Ask for Sunshine to take you through the field
Someone take a ride on a horse
Someone pay a dollar
I'll give you the horse, so you can ride
Once upon a horse, three ring stable
Now why shouldn't you come here at once

My 11 year old cousin wrote this when she was sick in the hospital with meningitis. She died 5 days after and i thought that i should regard her work and put it up here for everyone to see. She wanted to ever so badly ride a horse at a stable and her mom had said that after she was out of the hospital she would take her to one. Her wish never came true so this is in memory of Jane.

Very sweet poem. Your comment at the end was touching...Funny thing is, my name is Jane and I am a horseback rider. 5/5
