3-_Withered Remains_-3

by Lisa   Aug 24, 2006

Lay waste to the earth,
the icy remains of what once grew out of love.
Cascading waterfalls turn acidic,
burn, burn the festering life that lives still.
Bury deep the seeds of my redemption and remorse,
for eager grows the hallow tree you see..
Decaying slowly on the inside,
there is nothing left of me.
Insects feast upon the soul,
devouring truth never told.
The hidden secrets are laid to rest,
of this weary soul..
Oh, Let the black sun reign!
Laced with death it tears away the outer skin
revealing a tainted beauty, only found within.
Locked inside the caverns of your mind,
drown away my memories, the sadness..
Let the rain pour down.
Then allow thick vines to spread and smother,
choking what was left to utter,
all those empty lies.
