Broken through the barrier
the shattered pieces hit the floor
fragments of a life now destroyed
a life not mine anymore.
Reflections fade like shadows
of those memories held on for far too long.
The smile hidden from the unforgiving..
The eyes that held a world's suffering..
The girl running untamed and wild,
a true black stallion..
Never have I dreamed
to this day that I could be,
a soul living, breathing, feeling
so loved in every way..
Thought my life was over once
that it was meant to fade away
like a distant stares unnoticed
in the unforgiving depths of a crimson sky,
