Isn't Something Missing

by Sarah Ann   Aug 24, 2006

There's something missing in my soul
I'm hollow, empty, lost
For life is but a long nightmare
When happiness is forced

As everything collapses in hand
There is imperfect little me
Something's missing...someone's missing
And the blind, I wish they'd see

The truth, the lies, the hatred
All of the feelings, mixed but there
There's something missing. Am I missed?
Indifference proves that no one cares

Smiles, caked or painted on
Coated with glamour fees
Missing...something's missing
Isn't someone missing me?

Flow was good. Some great words. It does sound familiar for content which is one that I haven't seen for awhile put like this. Nice job though. Some good word play that made it flow together.
