A loving, happy, family
But look closely at the girl in back
Her eyes are brown but still seem black

No one cares notice
The pain held in her eyes
Maybe it's hidden face to face
But no picture can disguise

Her hair is pulled back
Her clothes and nice and clean
Her smile looks so real
Yet the silent tears can still be seen

The picture is showed to more people
And they compliment and adore
They see it as only photo
But to her its so much more

For a moment in time she was caught
So haunted and distraught
When she looks at the picture she can feel
That the pain she tries to hide is real..
