My best friend leslee is the strongest girl in the world
in her face bad news has continuously been hurled

her mom & dad both died of cancer
she asked why but never got the answer

so her & her brother went to live with her grandparents
little did they know they would be joining their parents

so about a year l8er their grand parents died
they packed for their aunts house and cried

they went to live with their aunt
from all the loss they started to pant

three years l8er leslees brother got cancer
she asked god why but still no answer

for three years her brother battled
every day he looked even more fragile

so this summer leslees brother died late at nite
he left the world with not one fright

when leslee found out she dropped to her knees
she screamed to the sky no god please

Derek was all she had left
for the next few days i sat with her and wept

she asked god why and finally got the answer
that she to would soon get cancer
