When the butterflies were afloat

by Hind   Aug 24, 2006

I remember when
The butterflies were afloat
My knees would grow weak
Like without you I couldnt cope

When I would walk by
My heart would double the pace
My body would grow stiff
With just the look of your face

When you would hint a smile
You brightened my day
When you opened your mouth
I had nothing to say

Where have those feelings gone
They seem to have disappeared
My heart is now empty
There are only memories there.

Aww, too sad and familiar. Great one as usual.
