My heart smiled too

Last night i cried for you,
i layed awake in bed,
my pillow soggy,
wet with tears,
as your face ran through my head.

today you were there,
i smiled when i saw you,
and when you looked back,
my heart smiled too.

i wasn\'t with you yesterday,
im not with you now,
the tears have stopped, but the smiles gone, cuz your gone too,
but just for now.

every night i pray for you,
i hope and wish and dream,
that maybe tomorrow i\'ll be
with you, but how so far away
it seems.
