Untouchable

by SolelyGuitar   Aug 25, 2006

You're the fruit I dare not taste,
Yet I cannot let you wait and waste,
I need to sweep you off your feet,
And need you, to become complete,
Your still untouchable,
I'm unable,
To take your hand and pull you close,
Till we are staring nose to nose,
My hand slides up to touch your neck,
And watch my world go down in a ship wreck,

What I wouldn't give to taste your lips,
And to let my hands caress you hips,
Or hold your face between my hands,
To take you to uncharted lands,
Yet I wait, and take my time,
So this doesn't feel like such a crime.

Thanks you Emily for helping me with this poem.
