I pray and pray
Every night
That in the morning when I wake up
Everything will be alright.

But every morning
Is still the same
I wake up
With you in my mind anyway.

I don't know what wrong with me
You still haven't left my heart
I don't think that I've adjusted
To the fact that we're apart.

I know you've forgotten me
And you have now for a while
My days are spent remembering
While yours are all spent with a smile.

I try to block you out
I try to forget you in every way
