Broken heart

I had started to let you go,
I was beginning to move on from you,
It was so hard to forget about all our plans we had made for our future,
Talking about marriage, kids, even where we would live.
I had to try and forget that i thought you were "the one" for me,
Even though its what I thought when we met for the first time.
Now you tell me you can't live without me,
You say you've realized that you took my love for granted,
That you never appreciated me being around.
You tell me you're sorry and that you'll change,
You want to prove to me that you'll treat me like a princess,
But why should i give you another go?
You've hurt me so much, I'm not sure I can go through that pain again.
But then again, you are you,
You know me better than anybody,
I love you more than words can say,
So why shouldn't I give you another chance?
Love is all about taking a risk,
Surely I should take another one for you,
But are you what I really want?
Are you what I really need?
I love you..more than perhaps I should,
And when you kiss me, when you hold me,
Everything feels alright again,
With you I feel complete.
But you've broken my heart so many times,
Can I let it be broken once again??
