My Friend, My sunshine

An ocean couldn't hold the tears I've cried,
I still can't believe that you died.
A band-aid can't relieve the pain I feel,
Suddenly everything seems so real.

Its sad to see a friend like you, go so fast,
All we have left are memories to last.
Why you were taken, I'll never know,
I don't understand why you had to go.

Your smile will always be with me,
And the laughs will remain a memory.
I'll miss you until the day I die,
But it's just so hard to say good-bye!

Everythings different,& nothing seems right,
I can't tell the difference between day & night.
The suns not shining, for it was taken away,
I hope we can meet you again someday!

    Mr. & Mrs. Morales,
    Thank you soo much for such a nice comment. Roger, meant so much to me, he was like a brother to me. I'd give the world to have him back with us, as i am more than positive that you would to. If I miss Roger as much as i do, i can not even begin to imagine the pain and saddness that you feel. I'm really glad that you like my poems, it means so much to me that you would read them! Thank you!
