A Cloudy Day

The Clouds are rolling in
the sky is dark
the rain is thin

The sound of it against the
window is oh so sweet

This awful storm is
beginning
The sun is drifting

Lightening fills the sky
as if the earth is going
to die
It a cloudy day
without you to say it
will all be over soon

The light will come
the rain will stop

The sum of the clouds will
fade with no more shade
The cloudy day will soon be over
