Forget

Forget

Forget the feelings I once had,
the feelings of being glad.
Forget the way he held my face,
and the feeling of our lips softly embrace.
Forget I was his little caramel,
our love is over it has fell.
Forget he told you he loved you every night,
always trying to make our love seem Strong and tight.
Forget the butterflies I once had,
now he only does things that make me mad.
Forget his smile. his laugh, his cry,
all we can do is say goodbye.
Forget trying to make things right,
remember it's her he's holding tight every night.
Forget the way he caressed my hips,
while he gently and tenderly kissed my lips.
Forget the way he messed with my hair,
this life of love just isn't fair.
Forget the way he'd lay me in bed,
while making my cheeks so so red.
Forget the sweet things he'd softly whisper in my ear,
realize now he did disappear.
Forget the way we use to play,
and when he told me my face was soft as a rose in may.
Forget him and his loving charm,
and the way he always kept me safe and warm.
Forget the love we once shared,
and the times we ever actually cared.
Just to say I should forget,
and I'm going out of this relationship with no regret.
