Warning Sign

by Lucy D1am0nd   Aug 26, 2006

Your uniform does not intimidate me,
My perfect imperfections hold strong.
And you will stand by me,
By my side.
My holy inspiration,
My whole world, hold me, hold me.

Why did you have to crash my reality?
You can be so selfish.
I'm not wasting my dreams,
Things will never change.
You won't change my name.
My identity, personality,
Defines me.

Your just a solider,
Who only follows orders.
Don't dare think for yourself,
The free mind is weak.
So march in your uniform,
It does not impress me.

Why would I want to be,
Like those who despise me?
Sell your body, sell your mind,
Everyone wants what you've got.
And you can sell yourself,
Is your soul really worth money?

Your chance has been and gone,
Life is disappointing.
Prepare yourself,
I must of missed the warning signs.

The mask you wear to protect yourself,
Has become your face.
Stop hiding,
Behind it all your nothing,
Empty and emotionless inside.

Forgive me for being so honest,
But I won't die silently.
Life is gentle,
And you've lived violently.
I live for you gently,
Please forgive me.

Now I know what your like,
And I don't like it.
A human lie in disguise,
Here comes the disappointment.
Brace yourself,
This is a warning sign.
