A Little of My Life

Let me tell you a little of my life.
First let me say that I was close on making Shan my wife.
I don't worry about that anymore.
Because I got girls now, not one but four.
But, in the end what do I need them for?
Naw I'm still in school trying to be cool.
Still using my only tool.
I use my brain instead of a nine.
Stupid pendejos are stupid and insane.
A little of my life.
Ah it's a wonder how I lived this long.
Or is it a dream am I wrong?
No it's real I'm here because I'm strong.
I'm 17 yeah but who really cares?
No one would care if my life really is a night mare.
Life isn't fair, but it isn't unfair.
Well I don't really care.
When I see the girl I like kissing my friend all I do is stare.
Well there it is, a little of my life.

    Gangsta poem...I like the deep words. ..it shows your life is conflicted and painfull...you look for a higher purpose...the good life but what you find around you is hurt pain an disappointmen....this is some of what i got out of your poem....very deep and touching....Read some more of my stuff..Gin and Juice-Bad hash- the Habash and more and let me know what you think

    Seventeen and you have to carry a gun... ouch.
    I liked how the off word rhymed, or maybe just inside my head.. the wording was smooth, so this seemed more like a story than a poem. I must admit, it was quite shocking, perhaps simply because I have had a shielded life.
